BEASISWA KULIAH KE JEPANG

BEASISWA KULIAH KE JEPANG SUDAH DIBUKA
Kedutaan Besar Jepang untuk Indonesia mulai membuka pendaftaran beasiswa kuliah ke Jepang untuk tahun 2013. Pendaftaran sebagai research student mulai dibuka Senin (2/4/2012).
Mahasiswa yang diterima dalam program beasiswa Pemerintah Jepang Monbukagakusho ini belajar di Jepang pada April 2013 – Maret 2014.
Mahasiswa yang diterima dalam program beasiswa Pemerintah Jepang (Monbukagakusho) ini belajar di Jepang pada April 2013-Maret 2014.
Peminat bisa melamar ke program degree (master/doctor/professional graduate cource) atau meneruskan program doktor setelah menyelesaikan program master atau professional graduate course apabila lulus seleksi tes ujian yang diberikan oleh universitas yang bersangkutan.
Penerima beasiswa mendapatkan tiket pergi dan pulang, uang masuk universitas, dan uang kuliah yang dibiayai dengan beasiswa Monbukagakusho. Selain itu, para mahasiswa juga mendapat uang sebesar 143.000 yen per bulan untuk biaya kehidupan sehari-hari.
Formulir pendaftaran dapat diambil secara gratis di Kedubes Jepang bagian pendidikan di Jakarta, serta Konsulat Jenderal Jepang di Surabaya dan Medan. Formulir pendaftaran juga dapat diperoleh di laman Kedubes Jepang http://www.id.emb-japan.go.jp/ Dokumen lamaran harus dikembalikan kepada Kedubes Jepang sebelum 2 Mei 2012 lewat pos atau dikirim langsung.
Pada tahun akademis 2012, sebanyak 30 mahasiswa Indonesia telah lulus ujian dan berangkat ke Jepang sebagai research student dengan rekomendasi dari pihak Kedubes Jepang. Ada juga 86 mahasiswa yang direkomendasikan oleh universitas.
Saat ini sebanyak 2.162 mahasiswa Indonesia sedang belajar di Jepang. Dari total mahasiswa tersebut, sebanyak 632 orang di antaranya merupakan penerima beasiswa Monbukagakusho.

Kuliah gratis 2012 : beasiswa Endeavour Awards 2013

Pemerintah Australia kembali membuka program beasiswa Endeavour Awards 2013. Program beasiswa Endeavour Awards terdiri dari Endeavour Postgraduate Awards, Endeavour Research Fellowships, Endeavour Executive Awards, dan Endeavour Vocational Education and Training Awards.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Duta Besar Australia untuk Indonesia Greg Moriarty. Dia menyatakan, Endeavour Awards adalah program beasiswa Pemerintah Australia yang memberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan studi, penelitian dan pengembangan profesi di Australia.
“Sebanyak 26 warga Indonesia dianugerahi beasiswa Endeavour Awards tahun 2011 dan kami berharap dapat menerima lebih banyak aplikasi dari Indonesia untuk berpartisipasi dalam program beasiswa yang kompetitif secara internasional ini dan berdasarkan prestasi,” ujar Moriarty seperti disitat dari siaran pers yang diterima okezone, Selasa (3/4/2012).
Moriarty menyebutkan, para penerima beasiswa ini dapat memperoleh banyak manfaat. “Melalui beasiswa Endeavour Awards, penerima beasiswa dari Indonesia akan memiliki kesempatan untuk melanjutkan studi mereka, membangun jaringan dan hubungan kelembagaan dan berkontribusi terhadap upaya penelitian regional,” katanya.
Aplikasi untuk beasiswa Endeavour Awards 2013 ditutup pada 30 Juni 2012. Program beasiswa Endeavour Awards merupakan bagian dari program beasiswa Australia Awards yang juga mencakup Australian Development Scholarships. Sydney Achievers International Scholarships, University of Sydney, Australia

SYDNEY ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS (UNDERGRADUATE)
Benefits
30 scholarships of AUD$10,000 each per annum, available for a maximum of three years, (total value AUD$30,000) for any Undergraduate program offered at the University of Sydney (subject to the recipient maintaining satisfactory academic progress each year).
No living allowance is payable.
Criteria for Eligibility
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international senior secondary qualification accepted by the University with an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 98* or equivalent.
Students who have already commenced tertiary studies, or students transferring with credit exemptions and/or advanced standing are not eligible. Students completing Foundation Studies Programs are also not eligible.

Benefits
30 scholarships of AUD$10,000 each, available as a one-off award (total value AUD$10,000) for any Postgraduate Coursework program offered at the University of Sydney.
No living allowance is payable.
Criteria for Eligibility
Applicants must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree qualification with a minimum high distinction average as based on the Australian grading system. Students who have already commenced postgraduate studies, or students transferring from other postgraduate programs are not eligible.
Application Procedure
No separate application for a scholarship is necessary. An Application for Admission to the University of Sydney in 2012 will constitute an application for a scholarship. All applications meeting the selection and eligibility criteria will be automatically considered.
The deadline for receipt of applications and complete supporting documentation (academic and Englishlanguage proficiency results) is 31 October 2011 for Semester 1, 2012, and 30 April 2012 (for Semester 2, 2012). Applications received after these deadlines will not be considered.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based strictly on academic merit as per the University’s admission requirements. Selection will be based on actual results (academic and English language proficiency). Predicted/forecast results will not be considered.
Only applicants with firm, unconditional offers of admission will be considered.
Selection will be made by the University’s Scholarship Selection Committee, whose decision will be final. No appeals will be entertained.
Successful candidates will be informed in December 2011 (Semester 1, 2012) and June 2012 (Semester 2. 2012). Successful candidates applying through UAC will be informed in January 2012.
Conditions
Undergraduate scholarship recipients will need to maintain satisfactory academic progress, which, for the purposes of retaining the scholarship, is defined as maintaining a credit average (at least 65%) or more each year. Failure to do so may result in the scholarship being terminated.
Successful candidates:
  • must not be in receipt of any other tuition scholarship;
  • must commence study in 2012 – commencement may not be deferred;
  • will be required to pay for their own airfares to Sydney, living expenses, study materials, text books, any ancillary fees (if applicable) and Overseas Student Health Cover each year;
  • are also responsible for paying the balance of the tuition fees each year;
  • are required to enrol as full-time international students and must maintain their international student status on a full-time basis throughout their enrolment at the University of Sydney; and
  • may not be entitled to a ‘Leave of Absence’ during the duration of the scholarship, unless it is due to extenuating circumstances.
The University of Sydney reserves the right to make changes to this scholarships program without notice and at its discretion.

Postgraduate Courses for Professionals with Relevance to Developing Countries, DAAD Germany

From among the large number of postgraduate courses offered by German institutions of higher education, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports a carefully chosen selection of programmes which are of particular interest to junior executives from developing countries. These degree courses, which consist of one to two years of concentrated study, provide academically-trained young professionals in first leading positions from developing countries with the opportunity to engage in postgraduate education and training in their particular field or profession.
At present, postgraduate courses are offered in the following fields:
DAAD GermanyThe courses are open to all eligible candidates. Applications are welcomed from professionals with personal financial resources, from those who are funded by their government or company, or from those who are recipients of financial support from internationalsponsoring organizations. In addition, a limited number of full and partial DAAD scholarships are available.
General Information about the Programme
  • Postgraduate courses for young professionals from developing countries
  • Duration: 12 to 24 months, depending on the particular institution, 36 months for PhD programmes
  • Internationally recognised master’s degrees
  • Includes German Universities and Fachhochschulen (Universities of Applied Science)
  • Support of selected programmes with a variety of full or partial scholarships
  • Funded by the BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development), but admission also open to self-financed participants or students financed through goverment or other sources
  • Academic year 2013/2014
Prerequisites and Requirements
The typical scholarship holder
  • Will come either from a public authority or a state or private company in a developing country and, as such, be engaged in the planning and execution of directives and projects with emphasis on development policies having a bearing on technological, economic or social areas
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree (four years) in related subject
  • Will have completed an academic degree with grades far beyond average and at least two years of related professional experience
  • Is not older than 36 (for some courses the age limit is 32), respectively his/her academic degrees should normally not be older than six years. Concerning a possible age limit.
Language skills:
  • For courses in German: DSH 2 or TestDaF 4; at time of application German skills at completed level A2 are required. In addition, German language courses at level A2 or B1 are highly recommended
  • Exception: Candidates for some German-speaking courses need a very good command of German at time of application.
  • Note: It is not possible to pass the required German language courses (DSH or TestDaF) without any basic knowledge in the German language, even with the preceding six months of intensive course in Germany
  • For courses in English: IELTS (band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 80 internet based)
  • Note: Some courses may expect different level.
Proof of current work situation:
All applicants should state their current work situation at the time of application and submit a letter of reference from their employer(s), ideally guaranteeing re-employment after completion of the postgraduate course. A certificate of employment from the employer(s) should state the period of employment and inform about the applicant’s specific function and responsibilities during that time.
Statement of motivation:
Applicants must submit a statement of motivation explaining why they are interested in attending a particular postgraduate course with reference to their current employment.
Application formalities:
If you have no private financial resources or cannot obtain a scholarship from your government, company or an international organisation, you may apply for a DAAD scholarship – either full or partial. DAAD application forms are available from the German embassies or from the DAAD offices abroad or directly at the University or Fachhochschule.
Applications from Cameroon, Myanmar and Nigeria must be submitted via the German embassy.
Applicants from the People’s Republic of China are required to enclose two self-adressed address labels written in Chinese characters with their application documents.
Please note: Scholarships cannot be awarded without the official DAAD application form. Many courses, however, have their own forms, which must be submitted in addition to this. Applicants are requested to state whether they will be financing the desired degree course themselves or whether the course can only be taken with the assistance of a DAAD scholarship. Chances of admission to postgraduate courses will be greatly enhanced for academically qualified applicants with personal financial resources.
Applications via email will not be accepted.
Application deadlines for DAAD-scholarships:
  • 31 July at the German embassies or at the DAAD regional offices (Please ask for possible modifications in your home country!) or
  • 31 August at the DAAD section 431 in Bonn/Germany or
  • 15 October at the respective universities in Germany. The application deadlines at the respective universities may vary from course to course. Please check the relevant deadlines in this booklet.

All papers must be submitted in identical duplicates. Applications which do not clearly state the desired degree course or which are not completed in full cannot be processed and will not be considered for the selection.
For each priority you have to send one application set, stating the course of your choice in order of priority.
